Why professional services and add-ons are not automatically discounted

The Pro 50% member discount is a benefit for eligible DotwebApps software products. Professional services and add-ons are separate from the software product itself, so they are not automatically reduced by the software member discount.
Software discounts and professional services are separate #
When an eligible Pro member purchases a qualifying DotwebApps software product, the 50% member discount applies to the eligible software product price.
If professional services or add-ons are selected separately, their prices remain unchanged unless explicitly stated otherwise. Purchasing the software at a member discount does not automatically reduce the price of those separately selected services.
Examples of services that are normally not discounted #
Professional services and add-ons may include:
- installation
- logo or branding work
- color or UI branding
- Android deployment
- iOS deployment
- app configuration
- payment gateway configuration
- migration
- hosting assistance
- customization
- other professional services
These services involve work provided separately from the software license and normally remain full price unless DotwebApps explicitly states otherwise.
Advanced customization #
Requests for custom features, major design changes, integrations, workflow changes, data migration, bespoke development, or other requirements outside the standard product or available services are treated as advanced customization.
Advanced customization is handled through a Request a Quote process because pricing and delivery depend on the scope and complexity of the requested work.
Your software license is separate #
The member discount affects the eligible software product price. It does not change the license rights of the software you purchase. Software license rights continue to be determined by the license selected for that product.
