Understanding product packages

A DotwebApps purchase can involve several separate components: the software itself, the license tier selected for that software, an optional DotwebApps membership, optional professional services, and—in some cases—advanced customization.

Understanding these parts helps clarify what you are buying and which rights or benefits apply.

Software product #

The software product is the DotwebApps application or software being purchased.

A software product may be offered with more than one license tier. The product itself and the license rights selected for it should be considered separately.

Software license tier #

DotwebApps currently uses three standard commercial software license tiers:

• Single Site Personal / Business — intended for one permitted production installation
• Multi-Site Commercial — intended for multiple permitted installations up to the applicable finite activation limit and may support eligible client deployments where allowed
• Non-Transferable Resell Rights + White-Label — provides the broadest standard branding and resale permissions, subject to the applicable product and license restrictions

Each tier has different deployment, resale, and activation rights. Choosing a higher membership level or receiving a member discount does not change the rights of the software license you select.

DotwebApps membership #

Membership is separate from the software license.

The current membership levels are:

• Free Member
• Pro Annual
• Pro Lifetime

Eligible Pro memberships provide a 50% discount on eligible DotwebApps software products. Membership does not itself grant ownership of, or a software license for, every paid DotwebApps product.

The member discount affects eligible software pricing; it does not expand the rights of the license selected for that software. See 50% member discount for details.

Optional professional services #

A purchase may also include optional professional services or add-ons that are separate from the software product and license.

Examples may include:

• installation
• logo or branding work
• color or UI branding
• Android deployment
• iOS deployment
• configuration services
• migration assistance
• other professional services

These services are not automatically included in the Pro 50% software discount unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Advanced customization #

Requests such as custom features, major design changes, integrations, workflow modifications, data migration, bespoke development, or other work outside the standard product or predefined services are treated as advanced customization.

Advanced customization is handled through a Request a Quote process. Pricing and delivery depend on the scope and complexity of the requested work.

Think of the package as separate layers #

A simple way to understand a DotwebApps purchase is:

Software product → what application you are buying
License tier → how that software may be deployed or resold
Membership → account-level membership benefits such as eligible software discounts
Professional services → separately selected service work
Advanced customization → custom work quoted according to scope

The rights and entitlements for each layer remain separate unless the applicable product or purchase terms explicitly state otherwise.
