DotwebApps.com License Agreement

This License Agreement governs the use of software, web applications, mobile applications, source code, scripts, plugins, themes, APIs, documentation, graphics, and other digital software products (“Software”) purchased or obtained from DotwebApps.com (“DotwebApps,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By purchasing, downloading, installing, accessing, modifying, or using any Software from DotwebApps.com, you agree to be bound by this License Agreement and by the specific license terms associated with the product you purchased. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use or distribute the Software.

1. Software License

DotwebApps grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive license to use, install, modify, customize, and deploy the purchased Software according to the license type purchased for that Software.

The purchase of a Software product does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property, copyright, trademarks, brand identity, or other intellectual property rights owned by DotwebApps or its licensors, except where a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise.

2. Full Source Code

Where a product is advertised as including source code, the purchaser receives access to the applicable source code included with that product and may modify the source code for permitted uses under the applicable license.

Source code access does not by itself grant unrestricted redistribution, sublicensing, resale, or transfer rights. Those rights depend on the license purchased for the specific Software product.

3. Single Site Personal / Business License

Unless a different license is expressly stated on the product sales page, a Single Site Personal / Business License permits the purchaser to:

  • Install and use the Software on one production website, application, or domain as applicable to the product.
  • Use the Software for the purchaser’s own personal or business purposes.
  • Modify, customize, and adapt the source code included with the product.
  • Customize the appearance, branding, content, and functionality for the licensed installation.
  • Use the Software commercially within the licensed installation.

A Single Site Personal / Business License does not permit the purchaser to resell, redistribute, sublicense, or transfer the underlying DotwebApps Software as a standalone software product.

4. Multi-Site Commercial License

A Multi-Site Commercial License permits the purchaser to install and use the Software on the number of production installations permitted by the purchased license tier.

Depending on the license tier offered for the product, this may include multiple installations such as 5, 25, 100, or another stated number of sites or deployments.

The purchaser may use the Software for its own business and may deploy customized installations for clients or other permitted commercial projects, subject to the limits and conditions of the purchased license.

A Multi-Site Commercial License does not, by itself, grant the right to resell or redistribute the underlying DotwebApps Software as a standalone product, nor does it grant unrestricted sublicensing rights.

5. Non-Transferable Resell Rights & White-Label License

A product specifically sold with Non-Transferable Resell Rights & White-Label License permits the purchaser to:

  • Use the Software commercially.
  • Modify and customize the source code.
  • Change the branding, name, design, and user interface.
  • White-label the Software under the purchaser’s own permitted branding.
  • Resell the resulting Software product to customers.
  • Create customized versions for permitted commercial distribution.

The reseller license itself is non-transferable. The purchaser may not sell, assign, give away, transfer, or otherwise pass the reseller license or its reseller rights to another person or business.

Any new reseller or business wishing to obtain reseller or white-label rights must purchase or otherwise obtain its own applicable reseller license from DotwebApps.

6. What Is Not Permitted

Unless expressly permitted by the license purchased for the specific Software, you may not:

  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the original DotwebApps Software as a standalone product.
  • Share, publish, upload, or distribute the source code to unauthorized third parties.
  • Provide the Software or source code to another person or business for unrestricted reuse.
  • Transfer your license rights to another person or business.
  • Claim ownership of DotwebApps intellectual property that has not been transferred to you.
  • Use DotwebApps trademarks, logos, branding, or other protected assets in a manner not permitted by the applicable agreement.
  • Remove or alter license or copyright notices where such notices are required to remain by the applicable license.

7. Third-Party Components and Services

Some Software products may include or depend on third-party libraries, frameworks, APIs, plugins, themes, fonts, services, packages, or other components. Such components may be subject to their own licenses and terms.

Your use of third-party components is subject to the applicable third-party license terms. The DotwebApps license does not override or replace those terms.

8. Product-Specific Terms

The license type, permitted number of installations, included source code, supported platforms, updates, support period, and any additional restrictions may vary by product.

The license and product information displayed on the applicable DotwebApps product sales page or included in the product documentation forms part of the applicable purchase terms. Where product-specific terms conflict with this general License Agreement, the product-specific license terms will control to the extent of the conflict.

9. Licensing and Activation

Certain DotwebApps products may use a licensing or activation system to validate the purchased license. Where applicable, the Software may periodically communicate with the designated licensing service to verify license status.

Purchasers are responsible for maintaining valid license credentials and providing accurate information required for license activation or revalidation. License verification mechanisms must not be intentionally bypassed, disabled, or circumvented.

10. Updates and Support

Unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page, purchase of a Software product provides a license to use the purchased version subject to the applicable license terms.

Where a product includes a defined update or support period, updates and support are provided during that period according to the terms stated on the product page or in the applicable purchase documentation.

Expiration of an update or support period does not automatically terminate the purchaser’s valid license to a version already properly licensed, unless the applicable product license expressly states otherwise.

11. DotwebApps Membership

DotwebApps may offer a separate membership program that provides benefits such as discounts on eligible Software products and access to updates or other membership benefits while the membership remains active.

Membership benefits and Software license rights are separate. Expiration of a membership does not, by itself, cancel a Software license that was validly purchased. Membership discounts and membership-based update benefits may become unavailable after membership expiration until the membership is renewed.

12. License Revocation

DotwebApps may suspend or revoke a license where there is material breach of the applicable license terms, including unauthorized redistribution, unauthorized resale, license sharing, fraudulent activation, or deliberate circumvention of licensing controls.

Where reasonably appropriate, DotwebApps may provide an opportunity to correct a breach before revocation. Any revocation or suspension will be handled according to the applicable purchase and license terms and applicable law.

13. Intellectual Property

Unless expressly stated otherwise, DotwebApps and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Software and related intellectual property that are not expressly granted to the purchaser under the applicable license.

The license grants usage rights; it does not constitute a sale or transfer of ownership of DotwebApps intellectual property.

14. Disclaimer of Warranty

Software is provided according to the terms stated on the applicable product page and purchase documentation. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DotwebApps makes no guarantee that every Software product will operate without interruption, errors, or compatibility issues in every environment, configuration, hosting provider, device, operating system, browser, or third-party service.

Customers are responsible for reviewing product requirements, configuring their hosting and software environment correctly, maintaining backups, and ensuring compatibility with their particular deployment environment.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DotwebApps shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from the use of or inability to use the Software, including loss of profits, business interruption, loss of data, or loss of business opportunities.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, installing, activating, or using DotwebApps Software, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the applicable license terms.

The license associated with each product should be reviewed before purchase to ensure that it provides the installation, customization, commercial use, white-label, and resale rights required for your intended use.
