What reseller rights allow

Reseller rights are available under the applicable Non-Transferable Resell Rights + White-Label license. They allow the licensed purchaser to resell the resulting software according to the terms of the purchased license.
What reseller rights permit #
Where the applicable product and license allow it, the license holder may:
- resell the resulting software under the purchased reseller license
- apply permitted white-label branding or identity changes
- deploy the software commercially within the rights and activation limits of the license
The standard production activation limit for this license tier is 25 production activations. This is a finite limit, and product-specific restrictions still apply.
Reselling software is not the same as transferring reseller rights #
Reselling the software means selling the resulting software in accordance with the applicable reseller license.
Transferring reseller rights means giving a downstream customer the right to become another reseller under your DotwebApps reseller entitlement. That is not permitted under the standard Non-Transferable Resell Rights + White-Label license.
A customer who buys software from a reseller does not automatically receive the right to resell it again as another reseller.
Reseller rights are non-transferable #
The reseller-rights entitlement remains with the original licensed purchaser. It cannot simply be passed on to a customer or other third party.
Reseller rights also do not transfer DotwebApps ownership or copyright and do not permit the license holder to misrepresent ownership or authorship of the underlying DotwebApps intellectual property.
License limits still apply #
Resale must remain within the applicable product and license restrictions. A reseller license should not be interpreted as permission for unlimited production activations, unlimited downstream reseller rights, or rights beyond those granted by the purchased license.
If a product has additional product-specific restrictions, those restrictions continue to apply.
