Multi-Site Commercial license

The Multi-Site Commercial license is designed for customers who need to use a DotwebApps software product across multiple permitted production installations.

Multiple production installations #

The standard activation limit for this license is 5 production activations. This is a finite limit, not an unlimited-site license.

The license may be used for the purchaser’s own projects and for eligible client deployments where the purchased license permits that use. Where the product includes source code, the applicable source code is included.

Customization is permitted within the rights of the purchased license.

Client deployments do not include reseller rights #

Permitted client deployment does not mean that the software itself may be resold as a standalone downloadable product.

The Multi-Site Commercial license does not include reseller rights, and it does not allow the purchaser to pass reseller-rights entitlement to clients or other third parties.

Any client deployment must remain within the rights and activation limits of the purchased license.

Activation limits and non-production environments #

The standard production limit is 5 active production installations.

Local, staging, or test environments may be treated differently where the approved DotwebApps licensing configuration permits it. Product-specific behavior may vary, so follow the documentation for the software you purchased.

Perpetual software usage with updates and support #

Standard DotwebApps commercial software uses a one-time perpetual software usage license rather than an annual rental model.

The standard purchase normally includes one year of updates and support. When that included period ends, an otherwise valid perpetual software usage license does not automatically expire. Continued updates or support may require renewal where applicable.

Membership benefits and software licensing are separate. A membership discount may reduce an eligible software purchase price, but it does not change the rights or activation limits of the Multi-Site Commercial license.
