Resell Rights and White-Label license

The Non-Transferable Resell Rights + White-Label license is the highest standard DotwebApps commercial license tier. It is intended for customers who need permitted white-labeling and resale rights in addition to broader production deployment.

White-label rights #

White-label rights allow you to apply permitted branding or identity changes to the software where the purchased product and license allow it.

White-labeling changes how the product is presented to customers; it does not by itself transfer ownership of the underlying DotwebApps intellectual property.

Resell rights #

Resell rights allow you to resell the resulting software according to the terms of the license you purchased.

The standard production activation limit for this tier is 25 production activations. This is a finite activation limit, and product-specific restrictions still apply.

Where the product includes source code, the applicable source code is included.

Reseller rights are non-transferable #

The reseller-rights entitlement itself is non-transferable.

This means your customer does not automatically receive the right to become another reseller merely because they purchased software from you. Your downstream customer receives only the rights permitted for that transaction under the applicable license terms; they do not inherit your DotwebApps reseller entitlement.

Resell rights should also not be interpreted as permission to transfer DotwebApps ownership or copyright, or to claim authorship of the underlying DotwebApps intellectual property, unless a product-specific license explicitly provides such rights.

Activation limit and product-specific restrictions #

The standard limit is 25 production activations. Local, staging, or test installations may be treated differently where the approved licensing configuration permits it.

The exact rights and restrictions of an individual product remain subject to that product’s applicable license. Do not assume that a Resell Rights + White-Label license creates unlimited resale, unlimited production installations, or rights beyond the purchased license.

Perpetual software usage, updates, and support #

Standard DotwebApps commercial software is licensed for one-time perpetual software usage under a valid purchased license.

The standard purchase normally includes one year of updates and support. Expiration of that included updates/support period does not automatically terminate an otherwise valid perpetual software usage license. Continued updates or support may require renewal where applicable.

Membership and software licensing remain separate. Any membership discount affects eligible pricing only and does not expand the rights of this license tier.
